How to model in BPMN the return to the main process
The situation is as follows: we have a main process, where at some stage we have an activity that is responsible for verification and this is a sub-process. Depending on the result of the verification, further sub-processes are called.
In the verification subprocess, we have end events that are defined as those subprocesses that are on the main process. Therefore, on the subprocess model, would it be appropriate to model ordinary end events with process names or signal-throw end events?
In other words, how do we model a return to the main process, where the result of the sub-process will control the further course of the main process? What is the practice for modelling sub-processes so as to show that we have a return to the main process? Whether it is a subprocess that verifies something or just has too many steps to show it on the main process?
